Libraries' 2008 Awards Announced

Alice Bright, Jennifer Hyke, and Michael Jehn are winners!
Alice Bright received the 2008 Outstanding Achievement Award for Faculty for excellence in innovation and library citizenship. Alice was nominated for her innovation of the bboard org.library.ejournals, which is an online way to report access problems for journals. Because library employees can easily access this and get answers quickly, she was also honored for her library citizenship.
Jennifer Hyke and Michael Jehn received 2008 Outstanding Achievement Awards for Staff for excellence in productivity and library citizenship. Specifically, the nomination cited their hard work and dedication to the library through their work processing books for offsite storage, for all of their help with the reclassification project, and their dedication and enthusiasm for the Libraries as a whole -- which is all the more notable because they are part time employees.
Years of Service
Congratulations, all!
