NIH Public Access Mandate of 2007
Libraries' Support of Open Access
- May 27, 2008 -- After the legislation was passed to make public access to NIH-funded research mandatory, the NIH developed an implementation plan and put out a Request for Information (RFI) in the Federal Register, calling for comments on the implementation plan. We responded to the RFI via online form, as did many other libraries and publishers. Letter from Dean Gloriana St. Clair to Dr. Elias A. Zerhouni in response to the RFI.
